
Field Study 4-6
This course consists of three parts. Field Study 4 provides the students the opportunity to identify and utilize various teaching their area of specialization. They are required to observe classes, Made lesson plans, and teach students to a group of learners. Field Study 5 allows the students to have hands-on experiences in signing an assessment tool and evaluate its results based on the principles of testing. Field Study 3 enables the students to utilize alternative assessment tools in the actual classroom setting.

This is an overview
of the Home Economics discipline including philosophy, areas of specialization,
role in Societal development. It includes the history and philosophy in Home
Economics, areas and specialization of careers, family life and society, and household
resource management.

This is a three-hour-per-week course designed to train and develop in the students.This course shall deal with philosophies,theories and legal bases of special needs and Inclusive education,typical and atypical development of children,learning characteristics of students with special educational needs and practices in the continuum of special inclusive education.

TEACHING COMMON COMPETENCIES IN HE
This course is
designed to enhance the knowledge and skills and attitudes of a student on Home
Economics competencies such as a) using and maintaining tools, equipment and
paraphernalia; b) performing mensuration and calculation; c) interpreting
diagrams, layouts and plans; d) practicing Occupational Health and safety; e)
participating a workplace communication; and f) working in a team environment.

Technology Research 2
The course is the continuation of Technology Research I where the students are expected to complete the research proposal aligned to the areas of specialization. This includes the presentation, tabulation, analysis, and interpretation of the data collected. An oral presentation of the output of research is required among students.

TECHNOLOGY FOR TEACHING and LEARNING 1
This is a 3 Unit introductory course that explores basic knowledge and skills and values in the use of technology for teaching and learning. This course includes ICT Policies and safety issues, media and technology in various content areas,learming theories and principles in the use and design of lessons, teaching-learning experience and assessment tasks that utilize appropriate traditional and innovative technologies with social ethical and legal responsibility.

Special and Inclusive Education

Career Guidance and Counseling
Interrelationships among lifestyle, workplace, and career planning are explored. Overview of principles and practices of guidance and counseling in schools as they relate to the curriculum, guidance services and the counseling process is taught. Techniques for assessment of career aptitudes, interests, values and personality provide an opportunity for in-depth self-study. Attention is given to career theories and techniques for facilitating career development. |

INTRODUCTION TO AQUACULTURE AND FISHERY ARTS
The course introduces to the exploratory aspects
of Fishery Arts. It explains different areas namely, fish morphology, fish
culture, fish capture and fish preservation. Discussion includes fishery as
business and technical terms encountered in the study of fishery.

Technology Research 1
This course provides with important concepts of methods of research covering the design, data collection, statistical application and development of research instrument. This also requires the students to prepare a research proposal which includes introduction, significance of the research, methodology and the timeline of the study.
The proposal will serve as a basis for Technology Research 2.
Special Research Project
In addition to the preliminary
study of the techniques of research, these courses involves completion of
bibliography, organization of material, selection of a suitable problem, a
digest of related literature, selection of appropriate procedures, formulation
of a plan investigating and reporting, collection and organization of data. In

Assessment of Student Learning 2
This
course focuses on the development and utilization of alternative forms of
assessment in measuring authentic learning of vocational competencies. The students will experience developing
assessment instruments like rubrics for performance-based and portfolio
assessment.

kapanahunan sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.

Educational Technology 2
Technology for Teaching and Learning is a 3 unit course which will focus on the application , design, production,utilization,and evaluation for information and Communications Technology (ICT) materials for teaching and learning in Secondary Language ( English and Filipino) Education Programs. The major requirement for this course is an ICT integrated and Project-based Learning Plan aligned to the K to 12 curriculum. All the learning activities and course requirements will revolve around the student - teacher developed learning plan.
